Purpose:
This project is a continuation of the activities that Center for Civic Initiative has begun a few years ago. This year human rights education was also dedicated to children and teenagers from Prilep. Through project activities in 2003, 450 primary school children and 150 secondary schools teenagers from Prilep were educated. These children and teenagers at the end of 12-months-lasting program were educated in the basic human rights.

This will help them to contribute towards development of civil society and democracy in the city and the state. This project proved us persistent in our striving to invest in the young generation - the future of this country.

Our idea to make the children and teenagers conscientious, responsible and loyal citizens proved right and was widely supported and approved by the community. Children attending the program that CCI is implementing are constantly included in the process of increasing civil values.

With the Human Rights project the youngsters are introduced to various skills such are the introduction to Debate skills, using the potential for Drama, Computers and are improving their English language skills via workshops directly connected with human rights issues.
