| Purpose |
The UNDP Bosnia and Herzegovina is implementing the Integrated Local Development Project (ILDP).
The project aims at systematising and modernizing local development planning country-wide through elaboration and anchoring of a standardised approach to local strategic planning.
Pillars of the projects are elaboration of a comprehensive local development planning capacity assessment methodology for Bosnia and Herzegovina; development of a standardised local development planning methodology; capacity building of 24 municipalities and their socio-economic partners to engage in participatory and integrated local development planning processes. |

Local development planning capacity assessment methodology for Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on 3 thematic pillars of appraisal:
The capacity assessment methodology provides a local development planning capacity index, as well as identifies possible measures and capacity development actions as response to identified critical lacks of capacities related to local participatory and integrated development planning. |
