Monitoring, Evaluation, and Performance Indicators for the Greek State Audit & Control Mechanisms (UNPAN, 27 Aug 2010)

The goal of this study is to introduce the methods for monitoring and evaluation, for the Audit and Control Mechanisms within the Hellenic Public Administration space, through the application of performance indicators. First, the study describes and analyses the framework within which qualitative and quantitative indicators will be
used. It then goes on to present the performance indicators that were used, taking into consideration the peculiarities and the current state of the Hellenic Republic Administrative system. It concludes with the experience gained through the pilot
application of performance indicators on the work produced for the Audit and Control Mechanisms of the Greek Public Administration.
