The Conflict Research Unit (CRU) of Clingendael conducts research on the nexus between security and development, with a special focus on integrated and comprehensive approaches to conflict prevention, stabilization and reconstruction in fragile and post-conflict states. Specializing in conducting applied, policy-oriented research and linking academic research with policy analysis, the CRU translates theoretical insights into practical tools and policy recommendations for decision makers in national and multilateral government and non-government organizations. |
