This assessment tool for public agencies/administration to identify corruption risks within their organisations is developed by Transparency Brazil in partnership with the Controladoria-Geral da União. Specifically, it is designed to identify possible gaps in internal procedures and control mechanisms which may provide opportunities for corruption to arise.  The focus is on identifying the most critical decision making processes which may warrant further investigation.

The presented methodology of mapping corruption risks seeks to strengthen the preventive actions and the commitment of public officials. The methodology is designed as a tool for self-assessment for each entity public, as it not meant to be imposed from the outside.
