UNESCO partners with IFJ to develop gender sensitive indicators for media (UNESCO, 18 Aug 2010)

How can gender balance be measured in media organizations? What is required to improve the path towards fair gender portrayal in the news? UNESCO and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) will jointly develop indicators for effective evaluation of progress made in this area.
